Using your health insurance at Sree Nandaka
If you have health insurance, please ask our front desk at Sree Nandaka Advanced Surgery whether your planned treatment can be handled as cashless or by reimbursement. Our team can guide you through the steps with your insurance company or its TPA (Third Party Administrator).
Whether a treatment is covered, and how much, is decided by your insurer or TPA under the terms of your own policy. We recommend checking your policy details and speaking with our front desk before a planned admission.
Cashless and reimbursement: what they mean
Cashless: where your insurer or TPA allows it, a pre-authorisation request is sent to them before treatment. If they approve it, the approved amount is settled directly with the hospital, subject to your policy terms.
Reimbursement: you pay the hospital bill first and then submit a claim with the bills and reports to your insurer or TPA, who reviews it under your policy.

Documents usually needed
Please bring the following when you come for admission or for a cashless request:
- Your health insurance policy card or e-card (and the policy number)
- A photo ID of the patient, such as Aadhaar, PAN or passport
- The doctor’s advice for admission or surgery, with any consultation notes
- Recent test reports and scans related to the treatment
Your insurer or TPA may ask for more documents. Our front desk will let you know if anything else is needed.
